Adventure
Hollowmere Trail
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollowmere Trail is a slow, atmospheric adventure and I mean that as a compliment. You tap your way around a marsh village, poke at objects, talk to oddball locals, and slowly untangle why the place feels so off. The hand-drawn art and the ambient sound did a lot of the heavy lifting in pulling me in.
The puzzles are logical rather than moon-logic — most things make sense once you've read the room. There's a gentle hint system for when you're stuck, which I used maybe twice. It never punished me for exploring.
It's not a long game, maybe four or five hours, but it lingers. I played it in two evenings with headphones on and thought about it afterward, which is more than I can say for most mobile titles.
